A new Christmas tree recycling initiative has been launched by St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice.
Great Yarmouth and Waveney area residents can register until January 5 to have their trees collected for a donation.
The postcodes included are NR29, NR30, NR31, NR34, and NR35.
Collections will take place on January 8 and 9.
The Great Yarmouth and Waveney initiative follows a similar successful scheme in Suffolk and aims to support local hospice services.
The trees will be repurposed for animal feed and pathways.
To register your tree and to use this service visit www.stelizabethhospice.org.uk/be-a-star/fundraising/treecycling/.
Donations are encouraged, with all funds going towards supporting the work of St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice which, in partnership with East Coast Community Healthcare, has cared for more than 5,000 patients and their families in Great Yarmouth and Waveney, since launching in April 2019.
