Festive fun for all the family will be showcased as an annual Christmas lights switch-on spectacular returns.
Lowestoft town centre will be transformed ready for the festive wonderland this Saturday, November 30.
The season’s festivities will begin at 2pm with an afternoon of music and live entertainment, building up to the arrival of Father Christmas ahead of the big switch-on at 5pm.
Live music will then continue on the main stage until 6pm.
Performances on the main stage will feature local acts as well as appearances from some of the Marina Theatre's cast of Beauty & the Beast and some of the cast from Cherie’s Christmas Cabaret from the Seagull Theatre.
Lowestoft Town Council has organised stalls and entertainment as part of a Christmas Market at the Triangle Market, from 10am to 4pm.
Free children’s activities and an interactive nativity will run at the United Reform Church between 11am and 3pm
There is also free arts and crafts at Sams Wellbeing Hub + Cafe, between 11am and 1pm, with the chance to meet Santa Claus from 2pm.
East Suffolk Council is also offering free parking in council-owned car parks all day around Lowestoft town centre this Saturday, November 30.
