From slow-cooked brisket-filled tacos to fried chicken and chips smothered in homemade cheese sauce, Suffolk's street scene has so much to offer.
With winter around the corner, here are some of the best street food spots nestled away in Suffolk.
Smother Spudders

Geoff Platt frequently pitches his beloved van, Gina, at the Steeple Stores, near Haverhill, in west Suffolk, to offer hisWith a range of cheesy potatoes, including Mexican Fries, Tikka Fries and K Fries, the signature cheese sauce is smothered over every potato.
The Essex dad, who has been running the business for over a year now, says: "Every single one of our chips is coated in our signature sauce and the toppings are distributed in a way that gives a different and delightful sensation."
Taquería La Gringa
Taquería La Gringa converted horsebox can be seen pitched up around Haverhill most weekends serving signature Birria Da Res and Carnita tacos.
Another successful Haverhill enterprise, theAmanda Marks, who launched the business in January with her English husband, Ed, 39, and 18-year-old son Cristian, says the business uses local produce and fresh homemade ingredients.
Mrs Marks, from Charlotte in North Carolina, came up with the business when she began to miss the abundance of Mexican food in America after moving to Suffolk.
Peck
Peck is run by Nathan and Jessie, a couple who are championing local produce and exclusively use Suffolk-reared buttermilk fried chicken in their food.
They opened their takeaway shop on St John's Street in Bury St Edmunds in 2023 and have since seen constant traffic after a glowing TikTok review by FoodReviewClub made them go viral.
In his video, the TikTok influencer described the food as "fried chicken from the Gods," "unbeatable" and "up there with some of the biggest names in the game," rating the food a near-perfect score of 9.8 out of 10.
TACOR
Another Bury St Edmunds big hitter, TACOR offers a range of Mexican-inspired fillings including cerveza pulled pork with pineapple and chipotle salsa, duck carnitas with tomatillo salsa and chipotle and mole short rib with salsa verde.
The street food restaurant ran out of food on its first night after it was opened by former MasterChef contestant Hannah Gregory.
A small and cosy space, TACOR provides an intimate environment where the TV star and her team can be seen slinging tacos and cooking up a storm.
The menu changes monthly and there are often various takeover nights, including collaborations with other celebrity guest chefs.
Brisket Bay
Brisket Bay serves beef brisket, smoked ribs, tacos and a variety of street food options out of its takeaway site in Exchange House in Reydon's Fountain Way, Southwold.
Head chef, Arron Digby, 44, said his strategy is to combine fresh local produce with "put-it-in-your-face American street food".
He added, "You'll get zingy vibrant flavours in our tacos and flavourful homemade barbecue sauce in our meat so the meal coats your mouth."
