Road closures are once again taking place across Suffolk this week and look set to cause disruption for drivers. 

Here is where to avoid on your routes across the county this week. 

B1508, Sudbury Road

The B1508 Sudbury Road in Bures near Sudbury will be closed between 8am and 6pm from Monday, October 28 to Friday, October 31. 

According to the Suffolk County Council website the official diversion route for the closure is 14 miles long. 

While the road is closed, UK Power Networks will be carrying out urgent works in the area. 

Road signs have also been put up in the area warning drivers of the possible delays.

Bell Hill, Lamarsh

Despite being a country road drivers should be aware that Bell Hill in Lamarsh will be closed from Monday to Wednesday. 

The road would be a usually be a diversion route for some people while the B1508 is closed. 

However they will now have to find alternative routes while Anglian Water carries out work in the area. 

Stoke Park Drive, Ipswich 

Stoke Park Drive in Ipswich will be closed between 9am and 4pm from Monday until Wednesday. 

While the road is closed Suffolk Highways will be carrying out urgent work and a short diversion route will be in place. 

Hulver Street, Muntford

An emergency road closure will be put in place in Hulver Street in Muntford, near Lowestoft between 9pm and 10.30pm on Monday. 

While the road is closed Suffolk Highways will be cleaning out blocked gullies that are causing flooding. 

Bury Road, Whepstead

Bury Road near Whepstead will be closed between 10am and 4pm on Wednesday. 

UK Power Networks will be carrying out urgent works while the road is closed. 

A 14-mile diversion route will be in place for while the closure is in force.
