A town's historic market area is set to be transformed with spooky stalls and ghoulish performers later this month.

The historic Triangle Market in Lowestoft will host a spooky Halloween-themed market on Saturday, October 26.

A wide range of local stalls and live performers will hit the town's Triangle Market area - which has recently seen the installation of four new wooden kiosks that are available for hire throughout the year, including during the themed markets.

With Lowestoft Town Council organising the markets, a spokesman said: "Our themed markets have grown over the past few years and with the recent installation of new kiosks, we hope that more local businesses will be interested in having a presence in the historic Triangle.

"Our most recent themed market for Heritage Open Days was a huge success so we hope that these events will keep growing and get more popular."

Any local stallholders or live performers - both musicians and street performers -who are interested in being a part of the market should email Lowestoft Town Council via admin@lowestofttowncouncil.gov.uk for more information and availability.
