People are being warned about a new scam urging drivers to pay up for crossing a bridge.
Suffolk Trading Standards has issued a warning about a text message locals are receiving.
It claims to be from Lowestoft Council and says the recipient has not paid their toll charge for crossing the Gull Wing Bridge.
It instructs them to follow a link to complete the process.
A spokesman for the organisation confirmed this is a scam and reiterated that "there is no toll to cross the Gull Wing Bridge in Lowestoft, Suffolk".
They added: "You can report suspicious text messages by forwarding them to 7726 free of charge."
The £145m Gull Wing Bridge opened to the public in September.
It is the largest rolling bascule bridge in the world to be lifted using hydraulic cylinders.
