Numerous motorists were caught speeding by police during a series of enforcement checks.
Speed checks were carried out on three busy stretches of roads in the Lowestoft area last week.
After concerns had been raised about vehicles speeding in areas across the town, Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) were handed out to drivers for excess speeding while numerous motorists were also pulled over and spoken to by police.
A drink driver was also arrested by officers.
Lowestoft Community Policing Team (CPT) carried out the speed enforcement checks across town during "a busy week."
Officers from theIn a post on its Facebook page, a Lowestoft Police spokesman said the team was "busy conducting speed checks in the areas where concerns were raised by the community" across Lowestoft.
This led to the speed enforcement checks taking place on Ashburnham Way in Carlton Colville on Peto Way in Normanston and on Westwood Avenue in the Whitton ward.
The spokesman added: "PC 1851 Kibble, PC 532 Cawood and PC 822 Salazar have pulled over numerous drivers and issued traffic offence reports for excess speeding across the week and arrested one drink driver."
Police also thanked the community speed watch team who carried out speed checks in the Oulton Road and Hall Road 20mph speed limit zone in Oulton, Lowestoft.
These enforcement checks led to "16 speeding offenders" being written to regarding their driving.
