A long-established petrol filling station could unveil a new drive-thru facility - provided plans get the go-ahead.

New jobs could be created as a long-serving petrol filling station in Lowestoft looks to unveil new facilities.

Developers want to upgrade the existing site "which provides an important facility for motorists travelling on A47" in Lowestoft.

A planning, design and access statement said the redevelopment of the existing roadside facility "will also create new jobs and represent new inward investment into Lowestoft."

The filling station dates back more than 40 years,

A decision is likely to be made by East Suffolk Council in the coming weeks.
