Drivers are being warned they could face delays on parts of the busy A47 as a series of phased overnight works continue.
Work started on September 16 as part of a scheme of resurfacing works on the A47 in the Lowestoft area.
With a series of overnight closures taking place during 12 weeks of works, National Highways are continuing to carry out resurfacing and the "refreshing of road markings" along the A47 from Rackham's Corner in Corton to the Bascule Bridge in Lowestoft.
With letters sent out to local householders informing them of the latest on the works, stretches of the A47 are continuing to be closed overnight with drivers facing diversions as work is carried out on weekday evenings until December 7.
A National Highways notification to homeowners said: "We have started essential resurfacing work on the A47 between Rackham's Corner and Sparrows Nest, and the refreshing of road markings between Sparrows Nest and Bascule Bridge.
"Once complete, drivers will benefit from a safer, smoother and better-defined road surface."
As part of "information sharing" from National Highways an "engagement event" is being held at Triangle Market in Lowestoft next week.
It added: "Members of the project team will be hosting an engagement event on Thursday, October 17 from 1pm to 5pm.
"This will be a great opportunity for us to meet with you, provide an update on the work we're doing and listen to any concerns you may have."
Starting this week, and running for two weeks, the stretch of the A47 between the Blundeston roundabout to Gunton roundabout at Tesco’s will be closed overnight,From Friday, October 18, six weeks of overnight works will take place from the A47 Gunton roundabout at Tesco’s to Sparrows Nest in Lowestoft, with diversions in place.
Next month, three nights of work will run from the A47 Station Road roundabout at Hopton to the Blundeston roundabout from Thursday, November 28, with the closure in place and traffic being diverted.
And between Tuesday, December 3 to Friday, December 6 works will take place from the A47 Rackhams Corner roundabout to Gunton Tesco's, with diversions in place.
