A 51-year-old man died following a head-on collision with a farming vehicle, an inquest has heard.
Darren Bemment, who was from Halesworth, died at the scene of the accident on May 11.
On Friday, an inquest into his death was opened at Suffolk Coroners’ Court in Ipswich.
The court heard that Mr Bemment was travelling along Halesworth Road in Wissett in his red Honda Civic on the day of the accident, when he collided with a New Holland cop sprayer.
Suffolk Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue, an air ambulance and an ambulance crew were all called to the crash.
Mr Bemment died at the scene.
A full inquest into his death is expected to take place on January 27 next year.
