Drivers are being warned they could face disruption as urgent overnight repair work is carried out.

Suffolk Highways will be carrying out emergency works with a stretch of a busy road in south Lowestoft temporarily closed.

Urgent pothole repairs will take place tonight (Wednesday, September 11) at Kirkley in Lowestoft.

The highway repair and maintenance works will take place on Kirkley Cliff with a road closure in force.

According to the One Network roadworks map, delays are likely as the work is carried out between 7pm tonight and 5am on September 12.

Listed as "urgent - pothole repairs" the works will take place on Kirkley Cliff, from the junction with Cliff Road to the junction with Claremont Road.
