A charity quiz night raised £5,000 for two charities.

Norfolk & Suffolk Financial Services Ltd organised the event at the Hotel Victoria, Lowestoft, earlier this month, to mark the company's 50th anniversary.

More than 100 guests attended the evening, which saw funds raised for the East Anglia Air Ambulance and East Anglia's Children's Hospices.

The firm also made a donation.

Phil Ball, the company's director, served as the quiz master, with questions ranging from general knowledge to local history.

At the end of the event, managing director Mike Davies announced the total amount raised and expressed gratitude to all attendees.Universally Challenged - the winning team Universally Challenged - the winning team (Image: Submitted)
