Investigations are continuing after a man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash outside a home in a coastal town.
Damage was caused to the front garden wall outside of the house on St Peter's Street in Lowestoft during the collision.
Police, firefighters from Lowestoft South fire station and the East of England Ambulance Service responded to reports a car had crashed into the wall outside of a home at 8.50pm on Friday.
The fire crew spent just over 20 minutes at the scene as the vehicle - a grey Suzuki - was recovered.
According to police, the driver, a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He was subsequently released on bail, pending further enquiries, to return to police on October 15.
Friday's evening crash was the second time in a decade that a collision has occurred outside Laura Wilson's house in Lowestoft.
Back in 2014 Ms Wilson was forced to move out of her property for nine weeks after £10,000 worth of damage was caused when a car careered into her front garden wall - sending bricks and debris flying through her bay window.
Admitting it felt like Groundhog Day, Ms Wilson has contacted local councillors as she calls for traffic calming measures.
As investigations continue, witnesses or anyone with information should call Lowestoft police on 101 quoting crime reference number 37GY/1176/24.
