New and thrilling nocturnal experiences are set to unfold as Africa Alive launches its first-ever Zoo Camping Nights.
The zoo will be welcoming wildlife enthusiasts and families to an overnight stay under the stars on September 20 and 21.
From 4pm to 10am, guests can observe the fascinating nocturnal behaviours of the zoo's African animals and enjoy fun activities.
The event includes an evening guided torchlight expedition around the zoo.
Families can participate in games such as an animal-themed quiz and bingo at the campsite and take part in crafting enrichment toys for the animals.
A barbeque dinner and breakfast the following morning, along with an exclusive daytime zoo tour, are all included in the ticket price.
Joshua Hunter-Harl, sales and marketing director at ZSEA, said: “We are delighted to unveil our new Zoo Camping Nights event.
"This exciting experience offers a unique chance for visitors to explore the zoo after hours, engage with wildlife in a more intimate setting, and enjoy a memorable night beneath the stars.”
Mr Hunter-Harl also highlighted the importance of such events in supporting conservation projects, through generating essential funding.
Tickets, open to adults and children aged 5 to 15, go for £80 each with only 40 spots available per night.
The price includes a range of perks including a barbecue dinner, breakfast, drinks, secure overnight parking, all activities, a guided torchlight animal tour, an exclusive morning zoo tour and free entry to the zoo on the departure day.
Bookings can be made online and guests are urged to act quickly as spots are anticipated to fill up rapidly.
Organsiers say this unique family occasion promises an unforgettable after-dark adventure, creating lasting memories while aiding important conservation initiatives.
