It is a glittering awards ceremony that honours outstanding individual and group achievements and showcases the expertise of businesses across the district.
For more than 15 years the annual Suffolk Chamber Business Awards in Lowestoft and Waveney has been celebrated.
But marking a memorable milestone this year, a new name has been unveiled for the glittering gala - as the Suffolk Chamber East Suffolk Business Awards is launched.
A chamber spokesman said: "This year, to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the Suffolk Chamber we are excited to launch the Suffolk Chamber East Suffolk Business Awards for businesses from Lowestoft to Felixstowe, these awards are for you!"
It will see businesses from across the East Suffolk area honoured at a prestigious gala event later this year.
Highlighting the talent, excellence and inspiration that shines in the district, the Suffolk Chamber East Suffolk Business Awards 2024 is now open for entries.
The chamber spokesman added: "The East Suffolk Business awards give you the opportunity to enter your business or nominate another business that you feel deserves the recognition.
"Our awards are about you so let’s celebrate the best of the best!"
Award categories are as follows: Apprentice/Trainee of the Year; Community Pride; Family Business of the Year; Growing Business of the Year; Large Business of the Year; Local Charity of the Year; Made in East Suffolk; Net Zero Champions; Small/Medium Business of the Year and Tourism & Hospitality.
The chamber spokesman added: "The closing date for entries is August 31 so, get your entries in now to be in with a chance of scooping one of our prestigious awards!"
The award winners will be announced at a celebratory gala evening ceremony that will be held at Ivy House Country Hotel in Lowestoft on Thursday, November 14.
