An award-winning restaurant in a historic high street is set to reopen its doors once more to dienrs later this month.

After two years of closure, JOJO'S Kitchen & Bar in Lowestoft is set to reopen on July 25 with a special weekend offer.

With the restaurant - located on Lowestoft High Street near the Triangle Market - having been closed for dine ins, a delivery service has been run.

But after two years of closure, it will return with a newly revamped menu as a grand reopening is held on July 25.

For the owners of JOJOs, sisters Kelly and Claire Scoot, to celebrate what promises to be an "exciting event," the team is offering a 50pc discount on all food items for the first weekend, excluding drinks, for customers with booked tables only.

Having been a part of the Lowestoft community since first opening its doors in 2018, JOJOs was forced to close its doors in 2022 amid the repercussions of Covid, rising energy costs and a family bereavement.

Now, the restaurant is ready to welcome back its loyal customers and new guests to enjoy its signature dishes and warm, inviting atmosphere.

Owners Kelly and Claire Scoot said: "We've missed seeing our customers face to face, we have enjoyed growing the delivery side of the business, but we have very much missed that whole other social aspect of JOJO's.

"Our team have worked incredibly hard to prepare for this moment, and we look forward to serving our community once again with our locally sourced produce and quality ingredients."

The revamped menu at JOJOs Lowestoft will feature various mouthwatering options, including burgers, tacos, ribs, southern fried chicken, along with a selection of cocktails and craft beer.
