Oulton Park care home has started gathering donations for the cat rescue charity, Cat Angels.

Cat Angels aims to provide essential care to stray or abandoned cats, overviewed by a devoted team of volunteers finding them new homes.

Regular events and activities are organised by Oulton Park for residents and community members.

Sarah Wright, general manager at Oulton Park, said: "We are always keen to show as much support as we can to local charities.

"We are all massive animal lovers here.

"If anyone wants to donate just pop into reception."

The care home is run by Barchester Healthcare and offers residential care, nursing care, dementia care for residents from respite care to long term stays.
