One of the region's busiest promenades is to close next week, to allow repair works to start.
The project, on Lowestoft's North Denes, is expected to last for four weeks.
The path will be closed from close to the Birds Eye factory up to Links Road, past Tingdene caravan park and Denes Oval cricket ground.
The repairs are being carried out by Roadtechs on behalf of Coastal Partnership East, which is made up of the region's coastal councils to share and manage resources.
A spokesman for Coastal Partnership East said: "The work is spread along the promenade approximately between the Birds Eye factory and Links Road, Lowestoft."
Work will start next Tuesday, June 11.
It is the second phase of maintenance work and repairs, after three weeks of work was completed before the Easter holidays.
The spokesman added: "The work will involve closures of the promenade in approximately 200m sections as work progresses and diversions will be clearly signposted."
