Motorists are being warned they could face delays with a busy road due to close for three nights this month.
The nightly closures will be in force temporarily with diversions in place for the works along the B1532 London Road South in Lowestoft.
Suffolk Highways said it will be closed between 8pm and 5am from June 18 to June 20 for road resurfacing.
A spokesman said: "During this time, the road will be closed to ensure the safety of highway users and our operatives."
The work will be carried out in two phases.
The first phase will take place from London Road in Pakefield to Kensington Road - with traffic to be diverted along the B1532, A12, B1532 and vice versa.
The second phase of works will be carried out from Rectory Road to Cliff Road.
During the works, northbound traffic will be redirected via Rectory Road, the B1532, the A12 and the B1532 again with southbound traffic diverted on the B1532, Mill Road, the A12 and the B1532 again.
