Norwich City legends from yester-year will return to the football pitch this weekend for a worthy cause.
Simon Lappin is set to captain a side of former Canaries, who will be gracing the pitch at Lowestoft Town FC on Saturday, May 18.
The Fosters Solicitors Community Stadium in Lowestoft will host the Big C cancer charity football match - with a day of football, penalty shoot-outs and fun planned.
Lappin will skipper a side of ex-Norwich City favourites - including Grant Holt, Wes Hoolahan, Cedric Anselin, Simeon Jackson and Mike Milligan - in the Big C X1 squad that will take on a team from Help Delete Cancer.
Ryan and Rossi Jarvis, Michael Spillane, Danny Crow, Adam Tann, Adam Smith and Jake Jessup are among those also due to feature in the Big C X1 squad.
With Nicholsons Solicitors LLP the main sponsor for the charity football match, gates open at 10.30am on Saturday with kick off at at 12.30pm.
A spokesman said the event, being held in aid of The Big C Cancer Charity, "promises to be a fun family day" with a raffle, charity stalls, a crossbar challenge, face painting, family activities and plenty to keep everyone entertained.
Tickets are available online, and to book visit The Big C Cancer Charity website.
