Police are still searching for a missing 39-year-old man who was last seen more than a week ago. 

Kirk Gowing was reported missing from Lowestoft on Saturday, April 27, having last been seen the previous morning at his home.

Suffolk police have received reports of sightings of Mr Gowing since he was last seen, but officers have been unable to confirm if these were definitely him.   

Mr Gowing is described as white, 5ft 6in, of slim build, with mousy brown coloured hair and a beard.

Police are asking people to remain vigilant in the Lowestoft area and report any possible sightings to them. 

A Suffolk police spokesman said: "Officers and family members remain concerned for Kirk’s welfare and ask anyone who believes they have seen him to get in touch."

Anyone with information should call 101, asking for the duty sergeant at Lowestoft Police Station.
