A moped was stolen from outside a home while another moped left in the garden of a nearby property was targeted as the latest in a spate of thefts in a coastal town is investigated.
The latest two reported incidents come following eight thefts or attempted thefts of mopeds and motorbikes across Lowestoft in the last few weeks.
Police are seeking witnesses and are appealing for information in connection with the theft of a moped in Kirkley and an attempted theft nearby.
A black Keeway moped, registration number LP23KWM, was stolen from outside a home on Cleveland Road in Kirkley, Lowestoft about 9.05pm on Sunday, April 28.
Then about six hours later, a mile away, a police spokesman said: "An unknown person walked into a front garden in Lorne Park Road, Kirkley about 3.27am on Monday, April 29 and attempted to wheel away a moped.
"The moped was chained and locked and was left in situ."
