A man in his 50s arrested on suspicion of numerous offences after a serious crash between a bus and a van is set to answer bail this month.
The head-on collision in Lowestoft closed a busy road for more than five hours.
Emergency services responded to the crash involving a First bus and a flatbed van, with 11 passengers being assessed at the scene and two people taken to hospital.
Police, three fire crews, the East Anglian Air Ambulance, three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and two ambulance officer vehicles were called to the A47 in Lowestoft - not far away from Sparrows Nest Gardens and the High Street - about 2.45pm on Saturday, October 28.
The bus driver had to be cut free from his vehicle before he was later taken to hospital.
At the time, an East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust spokesman said: "Eleven patients were assessed, and two patients with minor injuries were treated at the scene, and at least one patient later made their own way to A&E.
"Two patients were transported by road ambulance to James Paget University Hospital for further assessment and care."
The road was closed until just after 8pm as investigations and recovery of the vehicles was carried out, with the bus and a flatbed van significantly damaged.
After the crash a 52 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice, multiple motoring offences and other outstanding offences.
The man, who is now aged 53, was bailed to return to police on January 22.
After answering bail in January, he was rebailed until March 12, and is now set to answer bail for a third time later this month - six months on from the crash.
This week, a police spokesman said: "The man has been rebailed to return to police on April 28, 2024."
Information about the crash should be directed to Suffolk Police on 101 quoting crime reference number 37/62986/23.
