Motorists are being warned they could face delays as two sections of a major road is set to be closed overnight.
As part of works to improve a flood-hit section of the A47 in Lowestoft, a week-long closure will be in force temporarily.
With National Highways continuing to install new drains, kerbs and road surfaces on an almost half-mile stretch, the A47 Lowestoft storm drain improvements scheme is continuing until June.
As the scheme's "main work" to replace a 500m section of storm drains started last month on the A47 between Sussex Road and Lowestoft Lighthouse - "where there is often local flooding" - National Highways said "overnight closures of the A47" would be in place this week.
It will see the A47 in both directions in Lowestoft - from the A1117 roundabout to the Jubilee Way roundabout - temporarily closed overnight between 8pm and 6am.
With the works taking place between Sussex Road and Lowestoft Lighthouse, the overnight closures will be in place each evening this week - from 8pm on Monday, April 8 to 6am the following morning, and up until 6am on Friday, April 12, with traffic to be diverted.
Meanwhile, an Anglian Water scheme will see another section of the A47 temporarily closed overnight later this week in both directions for 403m from Battery Green Road to the Battery Green roundabout in Lowestoft.
With emergency mains works being carried out, it comes after emergency repairs last month saw Anglian Water work to fix a burst sewer pipe at the junction of Battery Green Road, Waveney Road and Suffolk Road - with the road closure sparking major delays around the town.
Now, closures will be in place for two evenings overnight this week - from April 10 to April 12 - with the works taking place between 8pm on Wednesday to 6am the following morning, up until Friday, April 12.
According to the Suffolk Roadworks map "delays are likely" as both sets of works are carried out.
