Bosses at a town theatre have admitted they were "thrilled" after a top comedian chose the venue for a warm up gig next month.
The Marina Theatre in Lowestoft has announced that Russell Howard will hit the stage for a special warm up gig at the venue on Wednesday, April 10.
The popular comedian will be filming his comedy special in London at the end of next month and to warm up he will be visiting the Marina Theatre with his show.
Tickets go on general sale on Thursday, March 28 at 10am and the theatre has warned that they are expecting these tickets to sell out very quickly.
A Marina Theatre spokesman said: "We’re thrilled that Russell has chosen Lowestoft for one of his warm up gigs.
"He hasn’t visited us before so we’re all really excited.
"Tickets went on sale to our cardholders today and we’ve had a great response so far."
Tickets will be available to purchase via the theatre’s website or through the box office on 01502 533200.
