Families are being encouraged to head to Lowestoft town centre over the next fortnight for a cracking new Easter egg hunt.
The free and fun event will take place from March 29 to April 14 in Lowestoft’s town centre, with gifts and prizes galore on offer.
Brand new for 2024 this free Easter event is provided by Lowestoft Vision - the Business Improvement District for the town - with support from East Suffolk Council and Lowestoft Library.
Each carefully hidden egg has been beautifully hand decorated by youngsters from Lowestoft - with visitors and locals able to enjoy these amazing creations that have been hidden throughout the town as part of a special trail.
This included Ellie Watson WS Training, the young people of The Junction, along with Joshua Coleman, Sophia Allison, Jennifer Woodgate, Madison Gayfer, Caitlin Holmes and Emma Read who are media and make up students and the foundation and progression staff and students of East Coast College.
Every participant will be rewarded with a small prize when completing the hunt, subject to availability.
But there is also more - as completing the trail doesn't just end with finding all the eggs, as it also enters you into a grand prize draw.
Vouchers for the Marina Theatre and Richardson’s Family Bowling are available along with family Easter treats hampers.
Danny Steel, Lowestoft Vision Chairman, said: "These kinds of events have a proven track record of being popular and increasing the footfall in the town centre.
"I hope the families of Lowestoft enjoy the event.
"The eggs are simply amazing."
Angela Grey, Lowestoft Vision Business Improvement District Manager, added: "Lowestoft Vision is thrilled to introduce this fun activity that will bring families to our town centre, supporting the local businesses."
