A major road will remain closed this week while emergency repairs are carried out in Lowestoft.
A section of the A47 has been closed since Friday evening as Anglian Water worked to fix a burst sewer pipe at the junction of Battery Green Road, Waveney Road and Suffolk Road.
The road closure has been causing traffic delays around the town with reports that the town has become gridlocked.
Diversions are in place and works are expected to be completed by Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Anglian Water said: "Over the weekend we were on site working to fix one of our sewers near Waveney Road in Lowestoft. This is now completed.
"We now need to begin to reinstate the road and get everything back to how it was.
"To do this, our teams will be working in the area over the next few days.
"To keep them safe while they’re working, we’ll keep the traffic lights and road closure on Waveney Road in place until we’re all done.
"Local traffic can follow the diversion via Artillery Way, St Peters Way, Katwik Way and Station Square."
