With the survey covering "eight sites with existing sports facilities" within Lowestoft - at Clarkes Lane, Denes Oval, Fen Park, Gunton Community Park, Kensington Gardens, Normanston Park, Rosedale Park and Sparrows Nest Gardens - a series of questions feature.

A town council spokesman said: "With a big summer of sports coming up in 2024, Lowestoft Town Council is asking residents what sports facilities they would like to see in their parks and open spaces.

"Lowestoft Town Council already maintains a number of free-to-use sports facilities across the town, and are now seeking opinion on these facilities and what new facilities residents would like in the future."

With details of what is provided within the eight listed sites, questions such as 'how often' you visit these facilities feature in the survey, which includes the ability to skip sites and add your own suggestions.

Questions such as: 'Are there any other locations in Lowestoft that you would like Lowestoft Town Council to consider more sports facilities' and 'What sports facilities would you like to see in these locations' also feature.

The town council spokesman added: "The survey is open until Friday, April 5 and will influence future decisions on what facilities are seen in our parks.

"We are grateful to everyone who takes the time to engage with this comprehensive survey."
