A number of vans have been broken into in the Lowestoft area this week.
Police have said seven vans in the town and one in Kessingland were broken into between Tuesday and Thursday this week.
In most cases, work tools were stolen from the vehicles.
Police are reminding tradesmen and van owners to ensure work equipment, expensive tools and any other valuables are removed from their vehicles when not in use.

They are also advising people to keep note of the serial numbers of their tools or engrave them to ensure they are identifiable.
Van owners can further deter thieves by backing their van close to a wall when parking and ensuring it is alarmed and parked either in a garage or a well-lit, public area.
Officers added that anyone who is offered tools in suspicious circumstances should not agree to buy them and tell the police immediately.
Anyone with any information about the break-ins should call 101 or email ccc@suffolk.pnn.police.uk.
