Live music, comedy, workshops, pop up markets and fun for all the family will take centre stage at a seafront pavilion.
East Point Pavilion in Lowestoft has an exciting programme of events for all to enjoy over the spring and the rest of this month.
February half-term sees a range of family-friendly activities including a free drop-in printmaking workshop next Tuesday, February 20; a Wish Upon a Dance workshop inspired by the enchanting Disney movie ‘Wish!’ for children aged five to 11 on Wednesday, February 21 while DJ Beard’s Mayhem and Madness crazy party games and dances will be held on Thursday, February 22.
Next Friday, February 23 a free Pokémon Games Day will be presented by Lowestoft’s Skyward Fire Games, while Star Wars Day on May 4 will celebrate the film series.
The seafront pavilion on Royal Plain will host its popular monthly markets, with more than 20 local small businesses at the Women’s Market on February 25.
TOAST, the East's biggest regular poetry night, visits the Pavilion as part of their Toast Coast Tour on April 4.
A brand new and exciting comedy club for Lowestoft will see Hooma Comedy and East Point Pavilion present Lowestoft Comedy Club on the first Friday of every month - starting on April 5 with Tom Alban, Stephanie Laing, Nelson Gombakomba and Danny Ward.
The new monthly Pavilion Performers Open Sessions - on Wednesday, April 10 and Friday, May 10 - is an opportunity for local musicians of all ages to perform and connect.
Looking For Me Friend: The Music of Victoria Wood on April 12 will feature Paulus The Cabaret Geek, with Michael Roulston on piano.
WiFi Wars on Saturday, May 25 is a live comedy game show where everyone plays along.
