A motorcycle was stolen after the thief failed to break the lock on another.
The incident happened at around 3am on February 3 in Whiting Road, Lowestoft.
The offender attempted to cut the chain off a motorcycle, damaging it in the process, but was not able to remove it.
They then successfully cut the chain on a black Honda parked nearby and stole this instead.
