Organisers of a festive tradition are hopeful that numerous charities will be boosted as donations continue to come in this month.
The Everyone Active 2023 Lowestoft Christmas Day Swim, sponsored by JME, attracted around 340 "officially registered swimmers" as around 3,000 spectators watched Santas, Christmas elves and superheroes take the plunge.
Those taking part braved the cold North Sea conditions on Christmas Day for the 44th festive plunge.

With £6,700 raised following the Lowestoft Christmas Day Swim in 2022, organisers are hopeful last year's popular spectacle will exceed this amount.
Matt Stebbings, event volunteer, said: "A huge thanks to everyone that makes it happen.
"Big thanks go to Flying Fifteens for hosting us, as well as St John Ambulance, Lowestoft Volunteer Lifeguard Corps, HM Coastguard and the Lowestoft Lions.
"Thanks also go to the charities who gave up their Christmas morning to support the event.
"Finally thanks go to our sponsors JME and Everyone Active who, without them the event will not happen."
With local charities and deserving causes set to benefit from the festive tradition, money raised will be shared equally between YMCA Trinity, HOPE after Suicide Loss, Lowestoft and Waveney Breastfeeding Support, 1st Gunton Brownies and TrueColours of Lowestoft.
This will be distributed in addition to the core charities - Lowestoft Lions, Lowestoft Lifeguard Volunteer Corps, the St John Ambulance local branch and the Brian Gallagher Football Fund.
With sponsorship monies and donations still being accepted, Mr Stebbings added: "Official numbers are still be counted but we think there were around 330 to 340 officially registered swimmers and around 3,000 spectators.
"Initial figures show we are hoping to break the £7,000 mark for sponsorships and donations if people can continue to sponsor into January.
"Monies can be handed into Waterlane Leisure Centre in Lowestoft until the end of January."
