With Christmas coming, Suffolk's councils are finalising plans for the holiday period - including when rubbish bins will be collected.
This year Christmas Day is on a Monday which presents challenges for councils reorganising their rubbish collections, although in Ipswich the changes are minimal.
Ipswich has a four-day cycle of bin collections and does not normally empty on a Monday. Because Boxing Day is on a Tuesday, its collections will run from Wednesday to Saturday with all streets being put back 24 hours - but that is the only change and it will be back to normal during New Year week.
The only other change is that brown bins will not be emptied again until the week starting January 8.
Babergh and Mid Suffolk Councils will see their collections amended until the middle of January. Full details of Babergh collections are here and Mid Suffolk is here.
East Suffolk has not yet decided on its schedule - but it should be published over the weekend. It has said there will be no collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day but when details are known householders will be able to check their collection days here.
In West Suffolk collection days are put back a day both weeks - except for those whose bins are collected on Mondays. Their first collection has been brought forward to Saturday, December 23.
Full details of West Suffolk collections are here.
