Idyllic Potton Hall Spa to host first ever beer festival

Potton Hall Spa, located between Blythburgh and Westleston in Suffolk, is nestled within acres of stunning tree-lined fields and surrounded by nature.

It's uniqueness to the area is highlighted as the spa - which officially opened in 2021 after complications due to lockdown - boasts an outdoor pool, two jacuzzis, two saunas, a steam room, outdoor showers and therapy rooms for massage and treatments.

The spa also has a Yurt restaurant offering healthy, freshly prepared food.

Owner Priscilla Westgarth has been working with local events agency, Magnus PR, recently to raise the profile of the spa - and this has led to a new event being launched.

Next month the first ever Beer Festival for Potton Hall will be held - and there is even an opportunity to camp overnight.

Priscilla said: "I am very excited to host our first Beer Festival at Potton Hall.

"We welcome visitors from near and far.

"This is one of many events that we will be holding here at the spa, as well as offering weddings and hen party packages."

The three day event starts on Friday, October 13 at noon, with live music by Ellie Rose from 3pm on the opening day.

There will also be live music from local musicians Darby and Danny, also from 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Food will also be served from the Yurt, with the festival showcasing real ale, cider and gin from local breweries such as Greenjack, Beccles Brew Co, Stow Fen Brewing Co, Heart of Suffolk Distillery and many more.

Camping is available for one or two nights, priced at £20 per pitch per night.

Tickets to the Beer Festival are £20, which convert into beer tokens which will get you four pints of beer.
