Staff from a prominent refrigeration and air conditioning company are set to take the plunge next weekend for a worthy cause.
Team members from Pitkin & Ruddock are gearing up for a charity skydive in aid of a mental health charity.
A team of 22 staff members are set to embark on the skydive at Ellough Airfield near Beccles with the aim of raising £10,000 for Suffolk Mind.
Based in Lowestoft, Pitkin & Ruddock Ltd specialises in air conditioning for businesses.
It also has service centres in Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Bishop’s Stortford, with 22 brave members of the Pitkin & Ruddock team set to jump out of a plane after signing up for the charity skydive on Saturday, September 30.
A company spokesman said: "Pitkin & Ruddock are very proud to be an ongoing supporter of Suffolk Mind.
"The charity works across the Mental Health Continuum, from wellbeing to ‘severe and enduring’ mental ill-health, providing support and information for everyone.
"We are a family owned, family run business with nearly 80 employees, nearly 50 service vehicles and have been going since 1954.
"We design, install, service, maintain all types of air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and fluid chillers, working mainly in the commercial and light industrial sector for various schools, colleges, hospitals, food manufacture and other factories."
So far, the team has raised almost half of their £10,000 target.
The spokesman added: "A healthy mind is the greatest treasure.
"It is good to know none of us are alone and Suffolk Mind are here to support and provide information on all mental and physical health in the Suffolk area.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for our Pitkin & Ruddock skydiving team to raise money for Suffolk Mind."
