A 21-year-old woman who was involved in the supply of cannabis and amphetamine in Suffolk has been given a community order.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday was Megan Tomsett of Herries Close, Great Yarmouth.
She admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis and amphetamine and was given an 18 month community order and a 40 day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Tomsett was also ordered to do 40 hours of unpaid work.
Matthew Kirk, prosecuting, said Tomsett’s phone was examined after a police raid at the Lowestoft home she shared with a man who was involved in drug dealing.
Her phone had been used by the man to advertise and arrange the sale of drugs and Tomsett had arranged the sale of cannabis and amphetamine on his behalf on a small number of occasions, said Mr Kirk.
Steven Dyble, for Tomsett, she she was drawn into a lifestyle of taking drugs and low level drug dealing by a man who was a negative influence on her.
He told the court Tomsett no longer used drugs.
