An award-winning events agency has marked a special milestone in style.

Magnus PR celebrated five years of business with a celebrity guest hitting the decks at a special river party cruise to mark its anniversary.

Ann-marie Doggett - owner of Magnus PR - runs unique events across Suffolk which have included a summer-long diary of themed party cruises along the River Waveney.

The marketing and events agency based in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft marked its fifth anniversary of business on Friday, September 1 with a special guest DJ entertaining as part of an R'n'B birthday cruise.

Celebrity guest, DJ Ironik, shot to fame in 2008 with the hit 'Stay with me' and later followed it with 'Tiny Dancer' which features grime rap artist Chipmunk and Sir Elton John.

DJ Ironik provided old school R'n'B and Hip Hop hits for three hours whilst cruising onboard the Waveney Princess from Oulton Broad - and he even surprised Mrs Doggett and her guests by performing his hit singles live.

Mrs Doggett said: "Ironik doesn’t perform his tracks anymore, instead he is currently touring Europe DJ'ing in places such as Ibiza, Zante and Kavos."

With this being the first time Ironik had performed in this part of the county, he said: "I had a great time at the R'n'B Birthday cruise, one of my favourite gigs this year.

"The best vibes all night from start to finish - what an event."

Mrs Doggett said: "I am really proud of how far my little business has come and Friday night was just the best way to celebrate five years of business.

"The crowd was fantastic, and Ironik was perfect bringing the whole evening together and getting everyone singing and dancing."

Magnus’ popular Vintage and Retro Christmas Market will hit The Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston on December 2, with a Christmas edition of the hilarious Faulty Towers The Dining Show on December 5.
