Motorists are being warned to expect delays as a busy road is set to be temporarily closed for emergency works tonight
Suffolk Highways will be carrying out '"urgent works" on the A12 Tom Crisp Way in Lowestoft.
According to the Suffolk Roadworks map "delays are likely" as the work is carried on Tom Crisp Way "from the junction with Blackheath Road to the roundabout with Bloodmoor Road."
The urgent works are set to take place between 8pm and 10pm today.
It states: "Urgent works - Vegetation forcing traffic into opposing traffic lanes or preventing access for emergency vehicles."
With an emergency road closure and diversion route in place, a Suffolk Highways spokesman said: "A12 Tom Crisp Way, Lowestoft will be closed from the junction with Blackheath Road to the roundabout with Bloodmoor Road on August 15 between 8pm and 10pm, for vegetation clearance."
A diversion route running along A1117, A1144, A12 and vice versa will be in operation.
