A flat in an "iconic" listed building in Lowestoft is set to go under the hammer.
The two bedroom duplex flat in a former Fisher Theatre was due to be auctioned off last month, but it was "postponed prior" to the auction.
Now, the flat in a historic Grade II listed building close to Lowestoft town centre is set to be auctioned off next month.
Back in September 1812, one of the first purpose-built Fisher Theatres in Britain - Crown Street Hall - first opened its doors in Crown Street West, Lowestoft.
The historic venue would go on to host a wide range of community groups and activities.
With a campaign group set up on its 200th anniversary in 2012, to preserve the building owned by the then Waveney District Council (now East Suffolk Council) for community activity, a series of fundraising events were held.
But, as they sought to transform the hall - which had been run by locals as a community hall since 1981 - and take it on from the council, plans were approved to convert the building "from community to residential use following a long period of decline and unviable usage" in January 2016.
Flat 2 at Crown Street Hall is now being offered at an online property auction on September 13, as it is marketed by Auction House East Anglia and offered in association with Paul Hubbard Estate Agents, with a minimum guide price of £115,000 plus fees.
A property description from the auctioneers states: "This imposing Grade II listed building has been sympathetically converted retaining many original features and now comprises of four self contained dwellings.
"Finished to a high specification this remaining two bedroom duplex flat is ready for occupation - an ideal first time purchase or a buy to let investment.
"The flat is being sold with a quarter share of the freehold."
