A beer festival is set to serve up a treat once more at a "beautiful seafront setting".
After the success of an inaugural event last year, East Point Pavilion in Lowestoft will host its second ever beer festival over the August bank holiday weekend.
East Pint Beer Fest - a family-friendly celebration of the best beers and ciders produced in the east - will be accompanied by a free programme of live music and children's activities.
Organised by East Point Pavilion and Sir Toby’s Beer, this year's festival will showcase more than 30 East Anglian beers, ales and cider from independent brewers across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire - twice as many as at last year's inaugural festival.
The event will also feature a pop-up outside bar, providing a range of cocktails and non-alcoholic options.
East Point Pavilion’s in-house food traders will also be providing delicious treats across the weekend.
Toby Westgarth, of Sir Toby’s Beer, said: "The response to last year’s festival blew us away, and so we’re determined to come back for 2023 with an even greater selection of options that spotlight the incredible drinks producing regions we call home.
"We’ve spent the past few months scouring the east and sourcing new and unusual drinks, which we’re excited for audiences to try in the beautiful seafront setting of East Point."
A free programme of live music, DJs and children’s activities will keep all ages entertained - with the likes of John Ward, Dove & Boweevil and Little Big Mouth taking to the Pavilion stage.
Genevieve Christie, CEO of First Light Festival CIC which runs East Point Pavilion, said: "We're thrilled to be bringing back East Pint, which was a real high point of last year's Pavilion calendar.
"The success of 2022's festival was really in how inclusive and welcoming it felt to all visitors, and with free entry, a bigger selection of options of drinks, and fantastic entertainment across the weekend, we hope to continue welcoming audiences."
East Pint Beer Fest runs from noon to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday, August 26/27 and from noon to 6pm on Monday, August 28.
