A violent Suffolk man who pulled out some of his partner’s hair and threw her out of their caravan during a row has been given a suspended prison sentence at court.
Marcin Jablonski had also slapped the woman across the face and had kicked her in the shin while wearing his work boots, Ipswich Crown Court heard on Monday.
Jablonski, 43, of Mutfordwood Lane in Carlton Colville, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm and three offences of assault by beating.
He was given a 14 month prison sentence suspended for 24 months, a 90 day alcohol abstinence monitoring programme, a 30 day rehabilitation activity requirement and was ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid work.
Edward Renvoize, for Jablonski, said his client had a reliance on alcohol but wasn’t addicted to it.
Although he accepted being violent to his partner he claimed she had also been violent towards him.
However, he accepted he had acted in a far more aggressive and violent way than she had done.
