A prominent fast-food burger chain "will be opening soon" in Lowestoft town centre.
New signage has been installed ahead of the long-awaited return of Wimpy to London Road North.
Locals are being encouraged to "Come back over to our place" with a new franchisee taking on the business that is "opening soon!"
The signs which state: "Not long now" and "trust us it will be worth the wait" have been unveiled at the front of the restaurant as work gathers pace inside.
And with jobs on offer at the restaurant - including full and part time management, as well as a cook and front of house teams - according to the 'We're hiring' signs, people are being urged to send their CVs to info@wimpy.uk.com
It comes two months after Wimpy Lowestoft announced it would be opening once more in the same London Road North location it had previously served generations until its closure in September 2017.
Now six years on, and with a new franchisee taking over, a major refurbishment project is continuing.
Once completed, Wimpy Lowestoft will accommodate around 80 seats, with both indoor and outdoor dining, and customer toilets on the ground floor.
Two months ago, a Wimpy spokesman said: "We are thrilled to be bringing Wimpy back to Lowestoft."
The new restaurant will reportedly bring 25 jobs to the town while no firm date has yet been set for the opening.
The town was left without a Wimpy when the former restaurant closed suddenly in September 2017 after its franchisee at the time decided to cancel its contract.
Back then, a Wimpy UK spokesman said: "We sincerely hope that we will be able to put Wimpy firmly back on the menu for Lowestoft people before too long."
