A businesswoman is "proud" to be celebrating a career milestone after founding her own permanent make-up clinic ten years ago.
Polly Vincent, 35, runs Enhance Cosmetics Clinic in Pakefield, Lowestoft.
She had set up her business in 2013 after six years working as a beauty therapist in luxury spas and salons across the world.
Now ten years later her clinic has gone from strength to strength and continues to grow.
With more than 3,000 clients, Miss Vincent employs five staff members including three permanent makeup artists, and also runs her very own training academy.
She said: “The business has expanded, but when I first started it was just me. My first room was upstairs in a local gym.
"I used to joke that it was my ‘Harry Potter cupboard’ because it didn’t even have a window. But, it was mine, and I loved it.
“Like anyone starting out, I was in charge of everything, from marketing myself to client treatments and orders.
"I’ve always been very hands-on and it’s a quality I like to maintain even today.
"I never ask my staff to do anything I wouldn’t do myself.”
Growing up Miss Vincent was inspired by her dad who successfully ran his own business working as a self-employed wedding photographer.
She said: “I was used to seeing my dad’s work ethic, he worked hard and this inspired me.
"I always wanted to be my own woman, call the shots in my life and have my own money.

"I am proud to say I am the first female in my family to have brought my own property and I have done that all on my own.”
The businesswoman is also a big advocate of supporting local businesses and employing locally - and empowering women in work.
Enhance Cosmetics Clinic offers a range of facial aesthetics alongside permanent makeup, including HydraFacial, CACI non-surgical facials, medical skin peels, anti-wrinkle injections, dermal and lip fillers, and areola medical tattooing.
