An escape room venue in Lowestoft has closed its doors for the final time after four years in business.
Prestige Escape Rooms announced earlier this month that they would be closing after being told to vacate the premises.
Owners Francesca and Stephen Dixon-Grant said on Facebook: "2023 has been an odd year for us.
"We were made to take our signs down by the council earlier this year because they were “harmful” to the high street.
"We also have also suffered with all manner of problems, including several water leaks which caused us to have to close and replace certain game rooms several times.
"But this is the final nail in our coffin.
"We’re not going to be reopening anywhere else because of all of the problems that we’ve had, this was our third premises already and we can’t do it all again."
They thanked all of their 'escapers' for their support.
Prestige Escape Rooms in High Street, which opened in 2019, received a Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award in 2022.
It closed for the final time yesterday, May 21.
