A mural that graffiti artist Banksy sprayed on the side of a Lowestoft building during his 'Great British Staycation' in the summer of 2021 is returning to Suffolk.
The Bristol-based artist created works across Norfolk and Suffolk two years ago, including Sandcastle Girl outside the former Lowestoft Electrical store in London Road North.
However, building owners Gary and Nadine Schwartz removed the mural from the wall in November 2021 and it was sold to a private buyer in the UK.
However, from June 3 to October 1 this year, Banksy fans will be able to see the Sandcastle Girl artwork again at Moyse’s Hall Museum in Bury St Edmunds.

It is part of The Urban Frame: Mutiny in Colour exhibition with more than 300 works by renowned contemporary artists, such as Tracey Emin and Damien Hurst.
The exhibition will also run across the National Horseracing Museum in Newmarket and Haverhill Arts Centre.
Fine Art Restoration Company, who have preserved numerous Banksy works, have restored the Sandcastle Girl artwork to its full glory.
