If you've always wondered what that painting, quirky collectable or piece of jewellery might be worth then you will be able to find out for free at a special antiques valuation event next month.
For value garden centre Cherry Lane Early Dawn in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft will be hosting a free antiques valuation event on Suffolk Day, June 21, with local auctioneer TW Gaze.
Organisers have described it as "a great opportunity" for anyone with any treasures at home to get them valued at Cherry Lane by experts.
Running in conjunction with TW Gaze Diss auction rooms, Cherry Lane’s 'Bygones with Value valuation and auction consignment event' will be held at the Early Dawn Garden Centre on Wednesday, June 21 from 11am to 3pm.
Expert valuer Elizabeth Talbot, a regular on BBC antiques programmes, and her specialist colleagues from the valuation department of TW Gaze will assess your treasures for free.
The expertes will be on hand to appraise your antique treasures and vintage collectables, providing valuations for auction sale.
Elizabeth Talbot, of TW Gaze, said: "I hope the people of Carlton Colville and surrounding areas will take advantage of this opportunity at Cherry Lane.
"With a cost-of-living crisis upon us, it’s a simple way to turn unwanted objects into cash.
"Delve into the attic and under the bed and dig out any antique or vintage wares.
"Often it’s the thing you least expect that turns out to be valuable."
Nathan Skoyles, garden centre manager at Cherry Lane Early Dawn, said: "We are really looking forward to hosting our Bygones with Value valuation and auction consignment event with TW Gaze.
"As an independent garden centre, our shelves are bursting with value and this event is an opportunity to see if any of our customers’ household items are of value too.
"What better way to celebrate Suffolk Day than finding what hidden treasures are stowed away here in the county?"
Cherry Lane is located on Rushmere Road, Carlton Colville in Lowestoft with free parking available.
