Here are five of the best beachfront hotels in Suffolk, according to Tripadvisor.

1. The Wentworth Hotel, Aldeburgh

This hotel on Aldeburgh seafront is regarded as the best beachfront hotel in Suffolk. 

Having been family-run for almost 100 years, The Wentworth Hotel is perfect for a coastal stay. 

The hotel has glorious sea views and is a cosy place to stay all year round.

One person described their visit to the hotel as a "delightful seaside stay", while another said it was "absolutely brilliant".

2. The Hotel Victoria, Lowestoft

With a 4.5 star rating, The Hotel Victoria is another popular beachfront hotel. 

The historic hotel has 24 en-suite rooms which have have been furnished to a high standard.

As well as offering an excellent stay, the hotel can cater for a wide range of needs, including weddings, afternoon teas and parties.

The hotel has a rating over 4.5 stars out of five on Tripadvisor from 972 reviews.

3. The Brudenell Hotel, Aldeburgh

From one end of Aldeburgh to the other is The Brudenell Hotel. 

The 4.5 star-rated hotel has 44 rooms for people to stay in, all of which have recently been renovated

Reviewing the hotel, one person said: "We stayed here overnight and found it a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable experience."

4. The White Lion Hotel, Aldeburgh

The White Lion Hotel is another popular destination in the coastal town. 

Located in Market Cross Place, there is a wide selection of room sizes to choose from. 

According to their website, the hotel is also dog-friendly.

The hotel recently relaunched its dinner menu after a three-year break.

5. The Clyffe Hotel, Lowestoft

With sea views looking directly over Lowestoft Pier, The Clyffe Hotel is regarded as one of the best beachfront hotels in Suffolk.

The three-star hotel has 16 rooms, all of which are based on a different theme.

Reviewing the hotel, one person said they had a "superb three-night stay".
