A brand new monthly market has launched in Lowestoft.
Bringing a wide range of handmade crafts, handcrafted jewellery, local produce and much more to the Coastal Cuisine site in Lowestoft, the new East Point Market is taking place on the last Saturday of each month.
With the next market being held on May 27, from 9am to 2pm, at Coastal Cuisine Ltd on Hadenham Road, organisers said it is "a must-visit destination" for anyone interested in local and artisanal products.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a range of delicious cakes, bakes and breads all made fresh, as well as pick up some fresh fish from the extensive fish counter supplied by Coastal Cuisine.
On-site caterer Farmhouse Kitchen will also be offering a selection of fresh sandwiches, hot food and beverages.
Market organiser, Michael Fairhurst, said: "We are delighted to bring the East Point Market to Coastal Cuisine.
"Our aim is to create a vibrant and diverse marketplace that showcases the very best of our local craftspeople, bakers, and other small businesses.
"We believe that Coastal Cuisine is the perfect venue for this, with its welcoming atmosphere and central location."
The market offers a great opportunity for visitors to shop for unique and one-of-a-kind gifts, sample some delicious treats, and support local businesses.
With its monthly frequency, the East Point Market will provide a regular opportunity for visitors to discover new products and vendors.
A spokesman for Coastal Cuisine said: "We're thrilled to host the East Point Market at Coastal Cuisine.
"We're passionate about supporting local businesses and promoting sustainable and ethical practices.
"The market aligns perfectly with our values and we're excited to welcome visitors to this new community event."
May sees the market celebrating the Love Your Local Market campaign – a celebration of the Great British market tradition.
