Drivers could face disruption as part of a busy road is set to be temporarily closed with traffic diverted for emergency repair work.
Suffolk Highways will be carrying out repairs to "carriageway potholes" on part of the A12 "between Kessingland and Wrentham" with a closure in place.
It will see a section of the A12 closed at Kessingland "from roundabout with B1437 to A12 Benacre" for the urgent works that are due to last about three-and-a-half hours on Friday, May 5.
A diversion route will be in operation between 7.30pm and 11pm on May 5 and with the closure in place, "delays are likely" for the "emergency roadworks" according to the Suffolk Roadworks map.
It states: "Urgent - carriageway potholes - 40mm to 100mm.
"The A12 will be closed between Kessingland and Wrentham on May 5 between 7.30pm and 11pm, for pothole repairs.
"Please follow the diversion B1127, A145, A146, A12 and vice versa."
