A Coronation concert will take centre stage in a prominent park next month.
The Coronation of King Charles III is set to be celebrated in Lowestoft with a Coronation Concert at Sparrows Nest Gardens on Sunday, May 7.
All are welcome to join in with this special event, which is being organised by Lowestoft Town Council in collaboration with the local branch of the Royal British Legion.
A town council spokesman said: "Lowestoft Town Council have collaborated with the Royal British Legion to organise an event to celebrate the crowning of the new king, which will include live jazz/swing music and stalls."
This free event will run from 11am to 5pm on May 7 with live music from the Super Swing Big Band, swing singer Ben Carruthers, Sam & The SwingTones and the Waveney Concert Band starting from noon.
As part of the national 'Coronation Big Lunch' campaign, people are being encouraged to "bring their own picnic" and enjoy the live music in Sparrows Nest Gardens.
Food stalls will also be on hand, offering a range of treats alongside the businesses already in the park.
